On 15 May, on the Day of Vyshyvanka, COMINBANK's team took part in an embroidery masterclass, which became a real immersion in traditions.
During the event, the participants not only created their own amulet - a warm symbolic embroidery with traditional elements - but also learnt a lot of new and exciting things: about the meaning of colours in embroidery, about the symbolism of the most ancient ornaments: ‘tree of life’, “star”, “berehynia”, about embroidery as a rite, about how each region of Ukraine had its own unique techniques and styles, and even about the modern revival of embroidery in art therapy and design.
Traditionally, in May, COMINBANK team takes a family photo in embroidered shirts, and this year was no exception. Smiles, colourful patterns and a sense of community once again filled our space with sincerity and warmth.
