JSC ‘Commercial Industrial Bank’ was assigned a long-term rating at the level uaA (stable)

The Standard Rating report states that the high rating assessment was obtained by the bank, first of all, based on the analysis of key liquidity indicators. «To verify the level of the Bank's liquidity provision, the Agency studied the monthly dynamics of the Bank's liquidity ratios and established that throughout 2014 — April 2015 the Bank constantly and stably maintained a very high reserve of instant, current, and short-term liquidity», — the report says.

The Agency also reports that over 4 months of 2015 the Bank managed to create a significant N1 reserve. As of 05.05.2015, the Bank's regulatory capital amounted to UAH 131.127 million, having grown since the beginning of the year by 6%, and exceeded the regulatory value by UAH 11.127 million.

«Until September 2014, the Bank maintained the N2 ratio (capital adequacy) in the range of 72-76%; since September 2014, N2 grew to the range of values 91.8-95.1%. As of 05.05.2015, the N2 ratio amounted to 88.75%, that is, exceeded the threshold value established by the NBU by 8.87 times», — the analytical report says.

As of 05.05.2015:

-              the Bank's instant liquidity (N4) was equal to 44.72%;

-              the Bank's current liquidity (N5) amounted to 89.04%;

-              the Bank's short-term liquidity (N6) was at the level of 274.17%.

 

We remind you that in February 2015, the Commercial Industrial Bank (Kyiv), which belongs to the group of small banks, changed its supervisory board. On April 29, 2015, Vadym Berezovyk, who previously headed the "Forum" Commerzbank Group bank, was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the "Commercial Industrial Bank". The corresponding decision of the Supervisory Board was approved by the Commission of the National Bank of Ukraine on Supervision and Regulation of Banking Activities.

The Commercial Industrial Bank was registered by the NBU in 1993. According to the data of the National Bank of Ukraine, as of January 1, 2015, in terms of total assets, the bank ranked 153rd (UAH 143.455 million) among 158 banks operating in the country. The financial institution ended the first quarter of 2015 with a profit of UAH 4,700 thousand.
