The Association of Ukrainian Banks awarded bank employees engaged in volunteering

On 5 December, the Association of Ukrainian Banks held a reception dedicated to the International Volunteer Day. At the event, 30 employees of banks and financial institutions - members of the UAB, who are actively involved in volunteering, were awarded.

Anna Nagorna, a volunteer of the projects implemented by the Bank within the framework of corporate social responsibility DOBROKOLO, received a certificate of appreciation from JSC COMINBANK:
1. cooperation with the volunteer project ‘How are you, brother?’ and Anton Semenov, in particular, dissemination of important information about the manuals that help in communication during the war
2. corporate donation programmes and cooperation with blood centres.

As part of its updated CSR, the bank has been actively developing an ecosystem of good deeds and corporate volunteering since 2022.

In his address, Andriy Dubas, President of the Association of Ukrainian Banks, stressed the importance of volunteering in wartime. He also noted that financial sector volunteers play an extremely important role in supporting Ukrainian defenders, helping them at the front and motivating society to unity and cooperation.
