COMINBANK took part in the National Bank of Ukraine’s educational project ‘The Banking Profession: Finances Under Control’, which ran from 18 to 29 May 2026 with the support of the country’s banking community.
The initiative aims to help young people better understand the basics of financial literacy, familiarise themselves with the world of finance and discover the specifics of the banking profession.
As part of the project, COMINBANK organised an educational visit for secondary and sixth-form students to the bank’s Head Office and Kyiv Branch No. 7 of JSC “COMINBANK”. The young guests were given a tour, during which they saw how a modern bank operates from the inside, learnt about the workings of a branch and the cashier’s office, the specifics of customer service, and the daily tasks of banking professionals.
A separate part of the event was a lecture on numismatics, delivered by Andriy Lyubun, Head of the Sectoral Analytics Department at COMINBANK. During the meeting, the schoolchildren embarked on a fascinating journey into the world of coins from different countries and historical eras, learnt interesting facts about the development of the Ukrainian hryvnia, received practical advice on collecting, and even took part in scientific experiments.
The COMINBANK team would like to express its sincere gratitude to all participants and project ambassadors who helped organise the event and made the children’s introduction to the world of finance both interesting and inspiring. Special thanks go to the National Bank of Ukraine for this initiative, which promotes financial literacy and raises awareness of the banking profession among the younger generation of Ukrainians.
