The latest meeting with students took place at the Kyiv Trade and Economics Vocational College, a branch of the State University of Trade and Economics.
On 26 May, Viktoria Zhezhera, Director of the Marketing and Communications Department at COMINBANK, gave a lecture to students on the topic: ‘Cybersecurity advice and fraud schemes in wartime’.
Today, digital security is an essential skill for everyday life. In wartime, fraudulent schemes are becoming increasingly complex and psychologically sophisticated, and young people, unfortunately, are one of the main targets of cybercriminals.
That is why the lecture focused particularly on practical issues regarding the protection of personal data, cards, banking services, social media and accounts. Students learnt about the most common online fraud scenarios and the dangers of fake links, and were given practical advice on creating strong passwords and digital hygiene.
It is worth noting that the Bank’s collaboration with the college is now in its third year under the Partnership Memorandum
