In December 2022, COMINBANK (JSC «COMINBANK) was one of the first to join POWER BANKING — a united network of bank branches throughout Ukraine that operate and provide banking services to clients even in a critical situation during a blackout. At the beginning of 2023, the POWER BANKING network of branches grew even more.
Currently, the network already includes 24 COMINBANK branches.
«I believe that the country's leadership, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and energy workers are doing everything possible to protect energy facilities throughout the country. But war is always the territory of the unknown. So now an important task of banks is to cooperate and maximally prepare for possible blackouts. Such unity of all representatives of the banking market is extremely important today», — comments Tetiana Putintseva, Chair of the Management Board of COMINBANK.
The network's points are provided with alternative sources of energy, backup communication channels, and everything necessary for uninterrupted service. So even in case of a prolonged absence of electricity, at POWER BANKING network branches, clients have access to a list of urgent banking services, including payments, money transfers, cash withdrawals, currency exchange, manager consultations, etc.
