Financial literacy for young people: COMINBANK continues its educational mission

Viktoria Zhezhera, Director of the Marketing and Communications Department at COMINBANK, gave a lecture on financial literacy to students at the Kyiv University

of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The main purpose of the meeting was to teach young people to recognise fraudulent schemes and develop safe behaviour skills in the field of payment services.

During her presentation, the expert emphasised that in today's digital world, it is critically important to constantly update one's knowledge and develop financial awareness. After all, financial literacy is not just about accounts and cards, but about the ability to make responsible daily financial decisions.

The students were particularly interested in real-life cases, which helped them understand how typical fraudulent schemes work. The discussion was lively, and the most active participants received gifts from the bank — a board game about Ukraine called ‘Shevchenko Asks.’

This limited edition game, created by the bank in collaboration with the ORNER team, is an example of how a historical and educational mission can be implemented in a modern interactive form.

There is a lot of educational work ahead. After all, COMINBANK is a bank with a history of continuously contributing to the formation of the financial culture of Ukrainians.
