In accordance with the Rules of banking services for individuals of JSC «CIB» and the Rules of service for corporate clients of JSC«CIB» to the requirements of the «Instruction on the procedure for the Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund to protect the rights and legally protected interests of depositors», approved by the Decision of the Executive Directorate of the Individuals' Deposit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter - the Fund) dated 26.05.2016 No. 825 in accordance with the decision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which adopted the Law of Ukraine dated 01.04.2022 No. 2180-IX «On amendments to the laws of Ukraine on ensuring the stability of the system for guaranteeing individuals' deposits», the conditions for guaranteeing individuals' deposits were changed regarding the guaranteed amount, namely:
During the period of martial law in Ukraine and three months from the day of termination or cancellation of martial law in Ukraine, the Fund reimburses each depositor of the bank funds in the full amount of the deposit, including interest accrued as of the end of the day preceding the day of the start of the procedure of withdrawing the bank from the market, except in cases provided for by part four of Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine «On the system for guaranteeing individuals' deposits».
After the expiration of three months from the day of termination or cancellation of martial law in Ukraine, the amount of the maximum amount of reimbursement of funds on deposits cannot be less than UAH 600 thousand and can be increased by the decision of the administrative board of the Fund.
