From November 5, Ukrainians will be allowed to buy foreign currency and banking metals without restrictions. The daily limit of UAH 150,000 has been cancelled, through the cash desk of a bank, financial institution, or in online banking systems.
The regulator believes that these easings will not have a significant impact on the currency market, and here's why:
Firstly, the vast majority of individuals' operations on the purchase of foreign currency are carried out for amounts less than UAH 150,000. Secondly, the total volumes of currency purchase and sale by the population today are comparable.
