COMINBANK representatives were guests at the FinLit Forum

On World Savings Day, the National Bank organised a large-scale educational event – the FinLit Forum: Financial Literacy – A Shared Mission of the Financial Market conference.

The event brought together representatives of government and financial institutions, including banks and insurance companies.

The conference was opened by NBU Governor Andriy Pyshnyy.

"The need to develop financial literacy is increasingly being discussed at meetings of the IMF, the ECB and the World Bank. This issue has long been on the agenda of many central banks: more than 80 countries have financial literacy development strategies and are successfully implementing them. Ukraine is among them. Last year, we also approved the National Strategy for Financial Literacy Development until 2030 and are confidently moving towards our goal — for every citizen of Ukraine to be able to make informed financial decisions that will contribute to their financial stability and well-being," he said.

During the event, the National Bank of Ukraine presented its state policy in the field of financial literacy, in particular the National Strategy for Financial Literacy Development until 2030 and the Financial Competence Framework for Adults and Children.

Projects already implemented by the National Bank were also presented: information campaigns, the introduction of the subject ‘Entrepreneurship and Financial Literacy’ in schools, opportunities for developing financial literacy with the ‘Garazh’ website, and projects of the NBU Money Museum, among others.

COMINBANK sincerely thanks the National Bank of Ukraine for its hospitality and the FinLit Forum. We are convinced that financial literacy is the foundation of prosperity and stability for Ukrainians. Therefore, COMINBANK intends to continue actively participating in the NBU's educational initiatives, conducting lectures for young people, sharing professional experience, and expanding the culture of responsible financial choices. Together, we are shaping the future of a financially literate Ukraine.
