Starting from October of the current year, payment of cash subsidies will be carried out by local bodies of social protection of the population. For this, the Pension Fund will provide payment details (accounts at authorized banks or postal details) on which pensioners receive their pension.
For those who are not yet on pension, payment will be carried out to accounts previously opened at Oschadbank. But if a subsidy recipient wishes to receive monetized assistance for paying utility services at another banking institution — they need to apply to the social protection department with a corresponding application. Together with the application, it is necessary to provide the details of the account at the authorized bank where there is a desire to receive the subsidy in cash.
Subsidy recipients who do not have accounts at authorized banks, before providing information about payment details, will receive a monetized subsidy through Ukrposhta at the address indicated when applying for the subsidy.
Those who are assigned a non-cash form of assistance — and these are households that have debts for utility services — will receive the subsidy exclusively through Oschadbank.
The social protection department will start calculating the winter subsidy in October on the basis of incomes received in the 1st-2nd quarters of 2019.
