2025 will be the year when COMINBANK, a bank with a history, will continue to actively develop the historical and educational mission launched on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the financial institution. The bank will continue to support events aimed at promoting historical knowledge and cultural heritage of Ukraine.
To this end, Cominbank held a working meeting with Yuriy Ladyslavovych Boshytskyi, Honorary Rector of the Kyiv University of Law of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine, Professor.
The prospects of cooperation with Mr. Yuriy were discussed by Viktoriia Zhezhera, Director of the Marketing and Communications Department of JSC ‘COMINBANK’.
‘The historical and educational mission is an integral part of the corporate social responsibility of Cominbank, which we implement through the DOBROKOLO programme. Today, such work is of particular importance for patriotic education and strengthening of national consciousness. And from the first days of the new year, we have been actively working in this direction, because we believe that business should respond responsibly to the needs of society, support educational initiatives and cherish the historical memory of Ukrainians,’ said Viktoriia Zhezhera.
During the meeting, the parties outlined plans for:
- Expert lectures from the Bank's specialists for students;
- Organisation of free excursions for students to help them learn more about the historical and cultural context;
- Joint projects in the field of art and culture and other initiatives that will contribute to the flourishing of national identity
Since 2023, Cominbank has been making a significant contribution to spreading historical truth and raising awareness of the national heritage among schoolchildren and students, understanding that young people are the future of Ukraine.
During this time, a large number of children, including those from IDP families, attended excursions and lectures at the Kyiv Museum of the Formation of the Ukrainian Nation and received thematic literature and educational board games as gifts from the bank.
