On 23 October, Viktoriia Zhezhera, COMINBANK's Head of Marketing and Communications, took part in a press conference to announce the Forum ‘Communication in Time of War’, which will be held on 15 November and is aimed at raising the most pressing issues of communication in times of war.
Among the key issues of the Forum is the process of developing ROC (Recovery Oriented Communication), a standard that will help preserve unity and maintain the psychological health of Ukrainians during and after the war.
As part of its continuous educational mission, COMINBANK became a partner of this event.
At the press conference, Anton Semenov, founder of the ‘How are you, brother?’ volunteer project, highlighted the forum's programme and key topics:
Communication between the military and civilians.
The role of culture in building a dialogue.
Adaptation and return of the military to civilian life.
Creating a ROC standard for communication during and after the war.
In their turn, the participants shared their views on how communication culture can become a tool for rebuilding society.
‘Cominbank has been operating in the Ukrainian market for more than 30 years, and during this time we have overcome many challenges together with the state. However, the times we are going through now are unprecedented. The war has brought new realities, and communication is critical in this period.
In an environment where communication can either support or traumatise, we understand how valuable it is to approach it responsibly, which is one of the reasons why the Bank has become a partner of the Forum ‘Communications in Time of War’.
As a socially responsible business, we hope that the event will draw the necessary attention to the need for sensitive and caring communication, in particular with vulnerable segments of our society, such as the elderly,’ said Ms Victoria.
COMINBANK once again expresses its sincere gratitude to the team of the ‘How are you, brother?’ project for sharing valuable knowledge and best practices on how to maintain relationships, restore warm contact and support each other during the war.
