JSC «COMINBANK» joined the worldwide activities within the framework of Global Money Week. "Plan your money, nurture your future" — this year's theme of Global Money Week.
The official coordinator of the campaign in Ukraine is the National Bank of Ukraine.
We remind that Global Money Week in Ukraine will run from March 20 to April 2 2023. The first event within the framework of the campaign was the meeting of the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andrii Pyshnyi, with the children of NBU employees on the topic "Mission: financial defense. Profession: bank employee".
«I believe that every Ukrainian should understand what the National Bank team is taking care of. Even more, everyone should be financially literate, well-oriented in the financial services market, in order to help the NBU in protecting financial stability and the further reconstruction of Ukraine», – emphasized Andrii Pyshnyi.
On March 30, 2023, the educational event from COMINBANK was solemnly opened by its head, Tetiana Putintseva. The Chair of the Management Board personally devoted time to the children; she spoke about the values and importance of this educational campaign, shared with the young listeners the most important principles of financial literacy and paid separate attention to the history of the national currency of Ukraine — the hryvnia.

Today, I want to sincerely thank all Ukrainians, but especially your parents for the fact that during the war they courageously work for the sake of Ukraine, do everything possible so that the banking system works smoothly and efficiently. And, if exactly after today's event, you want to become a professional banker in the future, I sincerely wish this dream comes true», — Tetiana Putintseva addressed the children of bank employees.
How to become a financially literate person, the children figured out together with experienced specialists of the Bank. Leading departments also joined in organizing the event.
The schoolchildren enthusiastically took part in interesting educational-interactive activities and themed quizzes. They got acquainted with the key principles of the bank's work, and also, within the framework of an informative tour, visited a new branch of JSC «COMINBANK» and were able to observe its «life».
At COMINBANK, they emphasized the importance of the joint action of the banking sector and the large-scale involvement of financial institutions in Global Money Week. According to the bankers' conviction, it is precisely in this way that future generations will timely understand how to thoughtfully and effectively achieve life's financial goals.
