The NBU approved the head of the Supervisory Board of CIB JSC

Oleksandr Oliinyk was elected Chair of the Supervisory Board back in March of this year at the general shareholders' meeting of the financial institution. However, he officially took office only after the approval of his candidacy by the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to Oleksandr Oliinyk himself, at the bank he will be responsible for strategic issues of the financial institution's development.

«My role in this position is to represent the shareholder's interests. We have approved with the bank's Management Board the development strategy for the next three years, within the framework of which «Commercial Industrial Bank» is to begin actively developing in the near future. We intend to build a universal bank, equally comfortable for legal entity and individual clients, which in the future will join the TOP 20», — says Oleksandr Oliinyk. According to him, before the end of this year «Commercial Industrial Bank» intends to open several branches in different cities of Ukraine, and in the perspective of 2 years to open representations of the financial institution in all regional centers. As the bank grows, it will carry out additional capitalization. «Of course, the shareholder will additionally capitalize the bank. Moreover, at a pace exceeding the NBU requirements — and in the short term he intends to bring the bank's capital to UAH 500 million», — added Oleksandr Oliinyk.

Oleksandr Oliinyk's banking career began at JSCB «Pravex Bank», where since January 2003 he held positions of Deputy Director, and then Director of a branch in Kyiv.

 Since March 2005, he headed the Sevastopol balance branch of JSCB  «Pravex bank», becoming, thus, the youngest banker in Ukraine ever to have headed balance branches of banks.

After completing his career at  JSCB «Pravex bank», Oleksandr Oliinyk headed the Southern region of «Ukrprombank», managed the Crimean units of Kreditprombank, “Petrocommerce-Ukraine” bank, and “National Credit” bank.
