We inform You that by the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine «On approval of normative-legal acts of the National Bank of Ukraine on accounting» dated September 11, 2017, No. 89 (hereinafter – the Resolution), the Chart of Accounting Accounts of Banks of Ukraine and the Instruction on the Application of the Chart of Accounting Accounts of Banks of Ukraine have been approved.
Item 5 of the specified Resolution obligates Banks of Ukraine to ensure by January 01, 2019, the transition to carrying out operations using payment cards with the application of balance sheet accounts 2600 AP "Funds on demand of business entities" of the group of accounts 260 "Funds on demand of business entities" and accounts 2650 AP "Funds on demand of non-bank financial institutions" of the group of accounts 265 "Funds of non-bank financial institutions" of section 26 of class 2 of the Chart of Accounts.
The norms of item 19.2 of the Instruction on the procedure for opening, using, and closing accounts in national and foreign currencies, approved by the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine dated November 12, 2003, No. 492, establish that the change of clients' accounts is carried out by the bank in the case of a change in the accounting procedure of clients' accounts (including clients' accounts on which operations have not been carried out for three years or more and on which there are balances of funds).
In accordance with the conditions of subitem 9.3.1.9 of subitem 9.3.1 of item 9.3 of the Rules of servicing corporate clients at JSC «CIB», approved by the decision of the Management Board of JSC «CIB» dated March 02, 2016, the Bank has the right to change the number of the Client's account without signing any additional agreements.
In connection with the above, we inform You that JSC «CIB» during the month of October of the current year will change the accounting procedure of a current account, on which operations are carried out using payment cards, namely - from 2605 to 2600 AP "Funds on demand of business entities" and from 2655 to 2650 AP "Funds on demand of non-bank financial institutions".
