COMINBANK signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Kyiv Trade and Economic College of the State University of Trade and Economics

On 17 September 2024, the Acting Chairman of the Management Board of JSC ‘COMINBANK’ Sergii Khorkov and the Director of the Kyiv Trade and Economic College of DTEK Oleh Oliynyk solemnly signed a Memorandum of Cooperation for students of the speciality 075 ‘Marketing’.

The purpose of the memorandum is to cooperate in the field of educational, training, expert, upbringing and cultural activities within the educational process.

‘Today, more than ever, socially responsible businesses need to unite with educational institutions. In times of war, our contribution to the training of future professionals is strategically important for the country's reconstruction.

Our cooperation with the college not only supports talented young people, but also prepares the ground for a strong, prosperous Ukraine after the victory we will surely win. Our joint efforts today are an investment in the future, in a new era of development and success for our country.

And, of course, this partnership is an ideological continuation of the historical and educational mission of Cominbank, which was launched on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of our financial institution,’ said Sergey Khorkov.

The Memorandum was also signed to help the Bank implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include such a task as improving the quality of education.

‘At a time when our country is facing significant economic, social and environmental challenges, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals is extremely important and requires the involvement of a wide range of stakeholders.

By engaging in activities to improve the level of education, the Bank and the College aim to share experience, ideas and innovations and, most importantly, to pass on practical knowledge to the younger generation of Ukrainians.
