COMINBANK is recognised as the leader in the social responsibility rating among Ukrainian banks

On 18 September, the rating agency Standard-Rating (Ukraine) published a study of the Ukrainian banking system for the first half of 2023.

COMINBANK JSC was ranked first in the social responsibility rating among Ukrainian banks with a non-state share. The bank has been paying attention to social responsibility issues for a long time and is a conscious ambassador of corporate volunteering. According to the agency, one of the bank's best social initiatives is its CSR concept DOBROKOLO, which focuses on supporting Ukrainians during the war.

The mission of DOBROKOLO is to develop the bank's corporate ecosystem of good deeds, where regular charity aimed at helping compatriots is dominant. "Do good to all those around you" is a constant slogan of bankers' CSR.

Tatyana Putintseva, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "COMINBANK", spoke about the assistance provided by the bank to the war-affected people in the second quarter of 2023:

"First of all, these months we joined forces with the ONUKY charity foundation to help people who suffered from the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station by the Russian occupiers. Volunteers from our bank actively joined the humanitarian mission to Kherson region. Together they collected 250 food parcels.

We also supported ONUKY with monthly donations. In June, we helped 156 people (IDPs from the hotspots), including the elderly, people with disabilities, serious illnesses, and families with many children and newborns. In July, we packed 163 food and hygiene kits for grandparents.

And, of course, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian scum, we have been constantly helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supporting the military hospital with monthly charitable transfers. At the end of the summer, the defenders who are undergoing treatment there thanked our bank for its help, and the heroes handed over a Ukrainian flag with their wishes and personal signatures to our British shareholder, Stefan Paul Pinter. Our defenders are incredible! Therefore, we are honoured to contribute to their recovery with good deeds, concern and sincere prayers."
